Initial Submission

You are welcome to contribute your most up-to-date research work and latest developments to NEMS 2025. Submission is available through December 31, 2024. Your submission must conform to the preparation guidelines. For the initial submission, authors can submit
Type 1: a full paper (4-6 pages) or
Type 2: an extended abstract (2 pages)

Please note that only full papers in the initial submission are qualified for award nominations. All submissions will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee of NEMS 2025. All accepted submissions will be requested to submit their full paper (4-6 pages) by March 31, 2025, which will be archived by the IEEE Xplore database. If you are not seeking to publish your work in the IEEE Xplore database, please consider submitting your work to the Presentation Only submission that is explained in the bottom.

The initial submission should be a single PDF file in A4 paper size prepared with the following template.

The submissions should be a PDF file using A4 size papers. The templates and instructions for MS Word and LaTex can be found below (You can use the same template to prepare your full papers (4-6 pages) or extended abstracts (2 pages)):

Requirements of the layout:

Manuscript should NOT contain any 1) Page numbers; 2) Headers; 3) Footers.
Author List. The author names should be listed in the order of First Name, Middle Name or Initial (if any), and then Last Name (Surname). DO NOT indicate any membership UNLESS the author is a member of the IEEE.
Figures. Ensure every figure in your paper is clear enough, with a standard of 300 dots per inch (dpi).
References. Refer to the template file below for the IEEE style of reference citations. Please do NOT use reference styles from publications of other societies or organizations.

Presentation Only submission

In case you are not planning to submit a full paper to be archived in IEEE Xplore database, you can submit a one-page abstract as a Presentation Only submission before March 31, 2025. Your Presentation Only submission will be assigned to an appropriate session based on your request or program requirements, but it will not be archived by the IEEE Xplore database.

Notification of Acceptance

Full papers and extended abstracts will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee. Authors will receive the notification of acceptance by Feb. 28, 2025. Acceptance of Presentation Only submissions will be made ad hoc.
