{"id":1493,"date":"2020-03-11T02:39:30","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T02:39:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ieee-nems.org\/2020\/?page_id=1493"},"modified":"2020-09-13T23:08:22","modified_gmt":"2020-09-13T23:08:22","slug":"new-two-page-abstract-submission","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ieee-nems.org\/2020\/new-two-page-abstract-submission\/","title":{"rendered":"Two-Page Abstract Submission (Oral)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>&#8216;NEW&#8217; Two-Page Late-News Abstract Submission is OPEN!<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h6><strong><em>&#8216;NEW&#8217; two-page late-news abstracts<\/em><\/strong> are to be considered for <strong><em>Oral Sessions<\/em><\/strong>.<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h6>The abstract submission deadline is&nbsp;<strong>July 31, 2020.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.softconf.com\/j\/ieee-nems2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" role=\"button\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><br \/>\nSubmit TWO-Page Abstract<br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em><b>NOTE<\/b><\/em>: (1)&nbsp;Accepted 2-page abstracts will NOT be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore nor indexed by other A&amp;I databases; (2) Full papers are NOT required; and (3) To be considered for inclusion into IEEE Xplore, full papers (4 to 6 pages) must be submitted by&nbsp;July 31, 2020.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Abstract Preparation &amp; Submission Guideline for Review<\/h2>\n<p>Authors should submit an abstract (2 pages) for review by July 31 to be considered for an ORAL presentation.<\/p>\n<p>You <em>MUST submit a single PDF in A4 paper size <\/em>that has to conform to the preparation guideline of 2-page abstracts:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Prepare a two-page abstract or a full paper (4-6 pages) using the <em>word template.<\/em>\n<ul>\n<li>Abstract format: You MUST <em>use the template of two-column format in the IEEE style for A4 paper size.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Template: <em>Click the button below<\/em> to download the word template in the IEEE style.<\/li>\n<li>Page limit: For the first submission, a manuscript can be of <em>2 pages for extended abstract<\/em> or <em>4-6 pages for full paper<\/em>. DO NOT indicate any membership UNLESS the author is a member of the IEEE.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Figures<\/strong>. Ensure every figure in your paper is clear enough, with a standard of 300 dots per inch (dpi).<\/li>\n<li><strong>References<\/strong>. Refer to the template file below for the IEEE style of reference citations. Please do NOT use reference styles from publications of other societies or organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>NOTE<\/em>: The above basic adherence to layout specifications is expected.
