The slides and presentations <strong>must be in<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>English.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>&#8216;NEW&#8217;<\/em><strong> Extended Deadline<\/strong>: <strong>September 20, 2020<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Prepare presentation videos or posters &amp; pre-recorded poster previews based upon the instructions below and submit by the deadline!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Instructions for ORAL Presentations<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>All speakers in oral sessions must submit their <strong>pre-recorded videos<\/strong> by <strong>September 14, 2020<\/strong> using the following tips\/requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-family: Roboto, sans-serif; color: #7a7a7a;\">\n<h5>Talk durations:\u00a0<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Plenary Lectures\u00a0are scheduled for 45 minutes (including 5 min Q&amp;A) each.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Keynote Lectures\u00a0are scheduled for 35 minutes (including 5 min Q&amp;A) each.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Invited Sessions\u00a0are scheduled for 20 minutes (including 3-5 min Q&amp;A) each.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Regular Sessions\u00a0are scheduled for 15 minutes (including 3 min Q&amp;A) each.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h5><strong>Tips\/requirements to prepare Pre-recorded Videos:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">NOTE: <strong>For regular sessions<\/strong> (<em>i.e.<\/em>, ORAL presentations), <strong>pre-recorded videos should be less than 12 min<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>Use <strong>\u201cWidescreen\u201d format<\/strong>, with the <strong>16:9 aspect ratio<\/strong>, to utilize the full screen (the standard 4:3 format will work but it will not fill the entire screen when in presentation mode)<\/li>\n<li>Slides will need to have <strong>audio narration embedded<\/strong>. <em>NOTE<\/em>: Follow this step-by-step instruction on\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/record-a-slide-show-with-narration-and-slide-timings-0b9502c6-5f6c-40ae-b1e7-e47d8741161c?ui=en-us&amp;rs=en-us&amp;ad=us\">recording your audio in PowerPoint<\/a>\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Conference will <strong>only accept the MPEG-4 (.mp4) format<\/strong> and export the presentation as an MPEG-4 (.mp4) file. <em>NOTE<\/em>: Follow this step-by-step instruction on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/office\/turn-your-presentation-into-a-video-c140551f-cb37-4818-b5d4-3e30815c3e83\">exporting a PowerPoint file to .mp4<\/a>\u201d<\/li>\n<li>The MPEG-4 file size must be <strong>less than 50\u00a0Mb<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>NOTE:\u00a0If you\u2019re using a web-based presentation program, such as <em>Prezi, Slideshare, <\/em>or<em> Google Slides<\/em>, you will need to use\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/guides.library.illinois.edu\/c.php?g=347363&amp;p=2343177\">screen capture software<\/a>\u201d to record your screen and presentation narration. Also, you may use <em>Zoom<\/em> to prepare your video.
